Airport Authority employee rides SANDAG vanpool to energy stardom

Check out this video featuring Peggy, Strategic Planning Coordinator the Airport Authority, and her fellow vanpool members winning a 2010 SANDEE (San Diego Excellence in Energy) Award from the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG). According to SANDAG:

The SANDEE Awards recognize outstanding projects and activities that have achieved significant energy savings and/or contributions toward the goals of the San Diego Regional Energy Strategy 2030 through the implementation of energy efficiency, energy conservation, renewable energy measures and CO2 reduction in San Diego County.

On this Earth Day 2010, the Ambassablog salutes Peggy for setting an award-winning sustainability example every day with her commute to and from work. For more information on how Peggy does it, and on how you can be an energy superstar via vanpooling, visit SANDAG’s iCommute Vanpool Program on the Web.

Home Treat Alert! The mulitmedia feature above may not be accessible at work. But you can view the Ambassablog at home & check it out there.
