Welcome to the reborn Ambassablog! San Diego International Airport’s employee blog, formerly called the Goodwill Ambassablog, now carries a more streamlined name — The Ambassablog — with a more streamlined look to match. We’ve redesigned the blog to make it easier to navigate and more fun to read.
All the familiar features are here, with regularly updated posts from the Ambassabloggers below. The sidebar to the right contains, from top to bottom, a hit counter, subscription link, Ambassablogger portraits, search box, post category listing, monthly archives, recent comments, links and an airport newsfeed.
Across the top are tabs to additional pages of the blog: Ambassa-Past presents images and information from past Goodwill Ambassador sessions; Ambassabloggers gives you more information on our employee bloggers; Stats is where you will find statistical information for the blog; Videos is your source of all the cool video posts featured in the Ambassablog; and Home will always take you back to this front page.
The new Ambassablog is created in WordPress, while the old one used Blogger. Inevitably, a few features may not have transferred over perfectly. If you come across one, please let us know so we can fix it. Also, feel free to let us know what you think of the new look.
A very special thanks must go out to Jennifer, the talented summer intern from U.C. San Diego in the Public, Community & Customer Relations Department who was the creative force behind the new design. The airport’s employee bloggers have more great posts on the way, so stay tuned!
